Significance Balance

Other apps tell you to try harder. Significance Balance tells you whether to give more, or to stop for today.

How much significance do you give your partner, relative to yourself? Significance Balance turns that question into a repeatable self-assessment and scores it from 0 to 100, where 50 is the healthy middle. Too low is neglect. Too high is neediness. Both are failure modes, and most advice only names one.

Privacy

What you write in Significance Balance is intimate, so the app is built to keep it where you put it. Your profile, your written context, your answers and your results are stored on your device and we keep no copy. There is no account to create, and nothing is published anywhere.

The AI features — the session's questions and score, and the premium coaching on top — need a language model that does not run on a phone, so the text each one needs is sent to our service, which asks a third-party AI provider and returns the answer. Beyond that: an anonymous identifier, your subscription record, the rate-limit counters that keep one device from exhausting the service, and crash diagnostics. Nothing records what you do in the app. The full list, and what each is for, is on the policy page.
